When we got the the Philadelphia airport I introduced her to the first thing on "My favorite things about the Southeast" List...Chick-fil-a! When we got to New Bern she got to meet her Little Papa (my daddy) and eat some good ol' eastern NC bar-be-que (two more things on my favorites list).
The rest of the week was Olivia on tour! We took her to Marine Fisheries to meet dad's coworkers, she got to meet our neighbors and close friends, her aunt Audrey, and then she went to Greene County to meet my grandparents. At my grandparent's house, she met her cousin James and my cousins Missy and Jason and Randy and Jenny. Our last stop was Greenville to meet her cousins (David's sister's babies), her aunt Melanie, uncle Wes, and my aunt Hilda! What a fun journey.
We leave for Charleston tomorrow to find a house. YAY I can't believe it! It is a 5 hour drive from Greenville to Charleston. Hopefully she'll be as good in the car as she was on the plane.
We'll keep you posted on our house hunting status and our contact info. We love you all and thanks for checking in on us.
PS Olivia rolled over for the first time today! As a physical therapist I am very proud of her and am acutely aware of what a blessing her normal development is:) It is so beautiful to watch her learn how to use her body!
Olivia and I got to help our papa pick scuppernong grapes off of his vines. Another favorite southeast specialty!
We went to a mother daughter banquet at my grandparents' church.
