A Flounder Drop and Fireworks in Oklahoma City

We hit the big city two weekends in a row.  A couple of weekends ago we met David's parents so that they could get Flounder and give him a ride to puppy camp (that's my parent's house for those of you who don't know).  He will be taking refuge there while David and I complete our stay in Oklahoma, drive back to Seattle for a month, drive to Alabama for a month, drive to South Carolina for a few days TO HOUSE HUNT...CAUSE WE ARE MOVING TO CHUCKTOWN BABY, drive back to Seattle for two months, pack, and then move to South Carolina.  He'll be happier frolicking with the other animals in my parents back yard.

YES it's true we are coming back to the east coast for the coveted Charleston Air Force Base assignment.  David's report date is November 30th.  We are definitely looking forward to
the much needed normalcy that will come with being closer to home.

Let's
see...our second trip from Altus to Oklahoma City was July 4th weekend. We were going a little stir crazy.  Olivia has had a little tummy virus so she yells at us a lot and it helped to lull her to sleep in the car for a while.  We went to see the fireworks that they set off at the bricktown baseball field.

This is what Olivia thought of the fireworks...

I think she had trouble getting into the spirit because I forgot to bring her 4th of July outfit.  So we wore it on the 5th instead.

Now we're back at Altus...if you're ever in town you'll probably see me walking around with Livie bundled up in the "Moby wrap" like we're little indians wandering through the plains or something...haha.  Or you may find us trying to catch up on sleep...that's about as exciting as it gets around here.
Love you all.  Thanks for checking in with us!

I am so glad that you all get to move closer to home....of course I will miss you dearly, like I do right now! I am really excited for you to come back and hope to make the most out of the time we have left in Seattle together.

Love,
Sara
